Along with the news that the Apple has started to send out shipping notices to those that pre-ordered the first day, we also hear that Apple retail stores, and most Best Buy stores will be selling the iPad on the April 3rd release day.  Looks like “most” Best Buy stores will be ready to go early Saturday morning, witb wifi-only models of Apple’s new internet tablet device.  There will probably be somewhat of a rush early Saturday, so if you are thinking out heading to Best Buy for the iPad, I would suggest you call to make sure that your local store has them for sale, and you get there an hour early.  They go on sale promptly at 9am.

 Also all Apple retail stores will be offering a free in-store “Personal Setup service”, for those customers that chose to pick the device in person on April 3rd.  Also they will be hosting a workshop this Saturday, that will show cutomers how to get the most out of the iPad.  This was confirmed from today’s press release from Apple.  (via Apple Press Release)
