Today Verizon released an OS update for their Blackbery Tour. OS 184.108.40.2061, is available as of today both as an OTA update and a download via the web. The OS 220.127.116.111 update brings a whole host of improvements including smartphone’s camera, calling, messaging and bluetooth.
But the biggest draw is the addition of PTT, or otherwise known as push-to-talk. It gives those both using regular BlackBerry Internet Service as well as the Enterprise Serve the ability to talk instantly with up to 50 other users that also have the PTT feature. PTT service is available for anyone with both voice and data plans. Although Verizon is unsure if the PTT support will remain free. Activation for this feature begins today. (via electronista)
