HTC’s flagship Android handset has yet to be released in most markets, but it seems they are already sending out a firmware update. The highly anticipated HTC Desire has received its first OTA update to version 1.15.405.4. HTC says the reason is for the update is “our commitment to providing you with the best user experience”. HTC doesn’t give any real detail into what the firmware does or what it might correct.
There have been rumors about the shipment delays due to issue with the current ROM. Hopefully this will correct any issues before the Desire hits most major markets. You read more on the update at HTC.
