Skyfire the very popular 3rd party browser that has been a choice of many Windows Mobile users, is making the jump to the Android platform. They recently acquired the company Kolbysoft, which is the maker of the Steel browser for Android. Skyfire kept Kolbysoft’s founder on staff and decidedly named him chief architect, to ensure a fast transition to the Android platform. Sure enough it worked, Skyfire announced yesterday on their blog that they were taking applications for it’s Skyfire Alpha program.
If you would like to participate in the alpha testing of Skyfire for Android, head over to their blog and fill out very simple application. They are looking for a variety of devices across of variety countries so if you are interested you head over there soon, cause spots are limited.
