In addition to placing calls and text messaging, we heavily use our latest smartphones for entertainment. Technology’s, particularly online technology’s, objective has now become entertaining its users. While entertainment is important and should be present, the primary goal of technology should be to help people better themselves in different ways.
There are no restrictions on what these “different ways” could be. A tool which I believe helps people improve in of these different ways is what I will be sharing today. The tool is named “What’s the Difference (Lite)?”
What’s the difference is a game available at the iTunes store and compatible with iPhones, iPods, and iPads. The objective of the game is quite simple. We are shown two similar photographs with a few differences between them. We have to carefully observe and point out these differences.
Needless to say, as the levels progress and the differences become minuter, we are forced to focus more intensely; resultantly our observational skills are improved. This game is a perfect example of how technology can be entertaining yet contributing to our personal improvement.
Currently there is another version of the game available at iTunes. This version is available for a limited time and has been made for iPads only. Its features include a large library of 200 photos, 3 unique game modes, and a leader board on which users can post their scores. The look and feel of this game is enhanced on the iPad. Moreover the minute difference can be pointed out better on the iPad’s large screen.
Both versions of the gamesare free. What’s The Difference (Lite) can be gotten here and the iPad-only version can be gotten here. This simple game is a must have for all Apple device owners.
