2009’s highly successful PS3 exclusive RPG Demon’s Souls, from developer From Software, may have been considered a sleeper hit when it was released in the US and Japan but was still high in demand among PS3 owners internationally. While most of the hardcore gamers have undoubtedly imported their US version of title months ago, publisher Namco Bandai will finally be releasing the title in the PAL territories; Australasia and Europe in June 25th.
Perhaps in order to entice the hardcore gamers that have already imported the title, or just to make up for the wait, Namco Bandai has decided to release a special “Black Phantom Edition” of the game. This special edition will include a book and strategy guide, soundtrack, and of course Demon’s Souls the game. Above is the image of this great new PAL territory “Black Phantom Edition” of Demon’s Souls.
Will any of our readers in Europe or Australasia be picking up when it’s released this June? What do you think about having to wait so long for the title?
