With the Left 4 Dead 2 DLC originally supposed to be released in March, a month later we have gotten word that The Passing DLC will be available in the coming week through Xbox LIVE and as a PC download. The announcement of the delay originally came when Valve announced they would be adding extra content to the offering including new weapons, enemy types, and game modes. The Left 4 Dead 2 team from Valve posted this on their blog on Friday,
“Well… if it was coming out next week we would say right here – Left 4 Dead 2’s The Passing is coming out next week and we will be updating the blog next week with more news on the release. There you go.”
The Passing DLC will be available sometime this week through Micrsoft Live on Xbox 360 for 560 Microsoft Points or $7. There is no word whether or not the PC download will be a paid download. However, its more than likely Valve will not charge for the PC download.
