President of 2K Games, Christoph Hartmann, originally promised an aggressive DLC plan for BioShock 2, and luckily developer 2K Marin certainly isn’t disappointing. The second DLC release of the title will be available “soon” and will bring a new game mode and six new multiplayer maps in what is being dubbed the “Rapture Metro” DLC pack.
The new game mode available is called “Kill ‘Em Kindly” and is essentially a melee only death match. The Rapture Metro DLC also features 6 new multiplayer maps taken from sing-player campaign levels including Dionysus Park and Siren Alley. The pack also includes new achievements, a high level cap, and two new masks. While no official release date has been announced, you will be able to get your hands on the the Rapture Metro DLC pack for BioShock 2 “soon” via Microsoft Live or the PlayStation Network. Its going to cost you $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.
