While much of the speculation surrounding which games will be revealed at this year’s upcoming E3 conference, one title we know for sure will be getting shown is Free Realms for the PlayStation 3.
SOE (Sony Online Entertainment), developers of the PC version of the free-to-play MMO Free Realms, have been celebrating their first year anniversary this week with in-game activities and parties for players and SOE team members. This seemed like a perfect time to bring up the question about whether or not the title would eventually becoming to the PlayStation 3. Luckily our friends from Kotaku got word this morning right from SOE.
SOE Announcement:
“Free Realms for the PlayStation 3 is very much in development and, you heard it here first, fans can be prepared to see the first demo in action in June at E3!”
We are still not sure how the game will work on the PS3 in comparison, i.e. whether it will be a download from PSN or a disc based title. Either way we will be sure to keep you updated when we find out more at E3.
